Who we are

VC Media is a web design and development studio based in Miami, FL, United States. This policy covers the website at www.vcmedia.io.

What we collect

When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address, business name and message you type. We use them to reply to you and for nothing else. The message is delivered to our inbox by SendGrid, an email service, and a short confirmation is sent to the address you gave. We keep enquiries for as long as we may need to follow up on them.

When you visit any page, Google Analytics records that a visit happened, which pages were viewed, roughly where the visitor is (city level), and what kind of device and browser was used. This is aggregated and we use it to see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart. We do not use it to identify individual people, and we have not enabled advertising features.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, which include the IP address of each request, for security and to keep the service running.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
• We do not send newsletters or marketing email. If you write to us, you hear back from us and that is all.
• We do not show advertising or use advertising trackers.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are set by Google Analytics. You can block them with your browser's settings or with an extension such as Google's own opt-out add-on, and the site works exactly the same without them.

Services we rely on

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) for visitor statistics.
• SendGrid (Twilio Inc.) to deliver contact form messages.
• Vercel (Vercel Inc.) to host the site.

Each of these has its own privacy policy covering the data it processes on our behalf.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form or call (305) 724-2078. Where a law such as the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you further rights, we honour them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
